The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is probably the best show in the history of basic cable. When AMC signed on for the show, I don’t think they realized what kind of blockbuster series they had. The Walking Dead’s production is on par with such shows as Game of Thrones, and Spartacus. I would have never thought that a basic cable channel could compete with a premium network such as HBO.

It is hard to deny the success of The Walking Dead, but some people still do and Ricardo just shakes is head. Each year at the Emmy awards, The Walking Dead is nominated, but the series has not won a single award yet. There may be some discrimination against the series because of the nature of the show.

The Walking Dead may not have won an Emmy yet, but the ratings don’t lie. The season 5 premiere of The Walking Dead had 17.3 million viewers. Ratings that high can only enforce the show’s positive feedback. The Walking Dead is also the most intense show that I have ever seen.

I thought that Game of Thrones was the only series worth watching. I never bothered to watch The Walking Dead until it was released on Netflix. I decided to give the show a chance, and now I’m completely hooked. The Walking Dead is a great show, and I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it.
