Bryan Singer has managed to keep a close watch over the production of his films, including “X-Men: Apocalypse.” Other than a few low res shots of the new class of mutants within the film, every picture from the film has been “spoiled” by Singer himself.
Hugh Jackman’s version of Wolverine has always served as a focal point of the “X-Men” films. That focus has even earned the character the sole offer of solo films, although soon Gambit will remove that claim. While Jackman’s minor scene in “X-Men: First Class” was a joyous moment for fanatics, Singer discredited any allusions to Wolverine’s appearance in that film when Jackaman was seen leaving its set. While Jackman has been evasive about a role within “X-Men: Apocalypse,” it seems that someone may have cracked the puzzle.
Several weeks ago, KikaNY, a leather store, left an Instagram comment about preparing a special product for Jackman and that Jackman was currently working on “Apocalypse” in Montreal. KikaNY has now stated that the backpack was only for personal use. Boraie Development wrote that it went on to remark that the filming comment came from someone involved with a photo shoot.
While Wolverine’s continued presence within the franchise makes sense, the secrecy about Jackman’s involvement likely points toward a cameo. It’s also worth recalling that, Rogue’s scenes in “Days of Future Past,” it doesn’t mean that an actor’s scenes will make it to the theatrical cut.
